It’s probably safe to say that we saw this coming. Since marrying Benji Madden in January of this year, we figured they would be shacking up together pretty soon and start unloading their bachelor and bachelorette pads.
Cameron has finally listed her 1,400 square foot, 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment for sale at a mere $4.25 million dollars. The apartment is located in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village and was designed by celebrity designer Kelly Wearstler, which propelled it to front page news when it was featured on the cover of Elle Decor.
The apartment features a truly opulent atmosphere and has touches of gold, ivory and emerald green throughout the home. The sunny living room features a wood burning fireplace along with handmade wallpaper for an interesting texture and feel. The living room is adjacent to the dining room lined with mirrors to create an open and inviting space.
One of the most standout features in this home is the foyer, which includes 14 feet of closet space which will accommodate those with even the most extensive shoe collection. The finish on the closets is hand-troweled plaster made to look like leather, which provides just a touch more added luxury to the space.
Arguably, the kitchen is probably the most stand-out feature in the home with emerald green and gold cupboards, brass countertops, and a pull-out pantry.
The master bedroom contains antique gold and mirrored glass closets that lead to the master bathroom which has been described as, “sexy and glamorous”, whereas the second bedroom has an ensuite with a custom brass shower and sink.
So, after seeing this luxurious and extravagant apartment you’re probably left wondering where in the world she moved to if she was willing to leave this behind. Turns out, she has purchased a $9.52 Million dollar three bedroom home in Manhattan’s Chelsea Neighbourhood. We’ve snuck in a few photos of her new space below, so you can see how it stacks up to her old digs.
